BIONOTE
Melinda A. Galdo, is a dedicated nurse educator and palliative care nurse with over 26 years of experience in nursing education and clinical practice. She has been serving as a Palliative Nurse since 2016 and is an active member of the Philippine Society of Palliative and Hospice Care Nurses, Inc. Her passion for compassionate, patient-centered care has enabled her to make meaningful contributions to palliative and hospice nursing while mentoring future nursing professionals.
Ms. Galdo has been a Nurse Educator at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA – Las Piñas for 26 years. She previously served as an ICU–CCU Nurse at the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Medical Center, Las Piñas City, from 2001 to 2006 and currently serves as a Nurse Trainer/Nurse at Martha's Home CALM (Nursing Home). Her professional interests include palliative and hospice care, geriatric nursing, nursing education, community health, and clinical competency development.
