Luningning is a highly respected nurse who dedicated 38 years of service to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), becoming the Pioneer Hospice and Palliative Nurse of PGH.

Beginning her specialized role in the early 1990s, Ms. Siarez spearheaded the development of supportive care services and served in crucial roles, including Head Nurse and Pediatric Palliative Nurse. Her long-standing dedication laid the groundwork for specialized, dignified care within the hospital setting.

An enthusiastic advocate, she is a tireless Resource Speaker who has championed the nurses' role in hospice and palliative care and significantly advanced palliative care education nationwide through various major institutions. Ms. Siarez actively engages in volunteer work and medical missions (including PALCare Volunteer Group, Inc. since 2002), bringing essential care to underserved communities.

Her impactful career, marked by clinical expertise and community advocacy, has earned her multiple accolades, including the Outstanding Head Nurse Award (2012) and the Most Outstanding Employee (2005) from PGH, creating an enduring legacy of compassionate patient care in the Philippines.
