Edith Rose R. Santos, MSN, RN, is currently the Dean of the College of Nursing at MHAM College, Inc., and is pursuing her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing degree at Cebu Normal University. She is an active member of the House of Delegates of the Philippine Nurses Association Cebu Chapter.

She was recognized as the Outstanding Nurse in the Field of Public Health in 2016 by the Philippine Nurses Association Cebu Chapter and was further honored with the prestigious SHINE Award in 2025 by the Philippine Nurses Association Region VII in recognition of her invaluable contributions to the nursing profession and community service.

Ms. Santos graduated from the Southern Islands Hospital School of Nursing in 1981 under the Nurse Midwifery Program. Prior to her transition into the academe, she served as Assistant Chief Nurse, Infection Control Department Manager, and Professional Development Manager at VisayasMed Hospital, where she significantly contributed to nursing leadership and professional development initiatives.

A passionate mental health advocate, she has actively volunteered with the Department of Health Region VII and the Philippine Nurses Association Cebu Chapter during calamities and emergencies, serving as a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Facilitator. Her dedication to nursing education, public health, leadership, and humanitarian service continues to inspire nursing professionals and students alike.
