Christian Bert A. Martinez is a registered nurse with a passion for palliative and end-of-life care, dedicated to improving the quality of life of patients and their families facing serious or life-limiting illnesses. He earned his bachelor's degree in 2019 at Universidad de Manila and his Master of Arts in Nursing in 2023 at Philippine Women's University. His thesis focuses on the psychosocial aspects of family members of ill patients.

He advocates for a holistic approach to care by addressing the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients while promoting dignity, comfort, and compassionate support throughout the continuum of care.

With a commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice, Christian actively participates in professional development and educational initiatives related to palliative care, pain and symptom management, advance care planning, and family-centered care. He believes that compassionate communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient-centered decision-making are essential in delivering high-quality palliative care that honors each individual's values, preferences, and goals.
