For decades, nursing care services have established organizations focusing on pregnant women's care, child care, and adult care, but geriatric and palliative care remains scarce, underfunded, and heavily underdeveloped. Despite these challenges, brilliant initiatives from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao formulated a lamp named PSPHN to lead, just like Florence Nightingale.

I am Carmelo “Bongits” Amoyen, RN, MAN, from Davao City, currently one of the nurse educators at Ateneo De Davao University, a nursing services provider to adult and geriatric clients as their private nurse consultant. Co-Chair, Committee on Research, Education and Training (CRET), Belteshazzar Home Services. Holding onto the advocacy of Self-Domain: SAKTO, conducting trainings and seminars for nurses, nurse educators, and even students to aid in improving their S-skills, A-attitude, K-knowledge, T-time management, and O-openness to become nationally and globally competitive.
